Focal Ohio crowns four state wrestling champs, three others sprinters up
COLUMBUS - Central Ohio had three leap forward victors at the four-day State Wrestling titles at Value City Arena.

Guarding Division one 170 pound champ Carson Kharchla stayed unbeaten with a 7-1 prevail upon Najee Lockett of Shaker Heights.

Dublin Coffman's Seth Shumate likewise went to the victors hover with a 11-2 win to go 50-1 on the season. Hold up to you see his reverse somersault.

In Division two, Conor Becker from Galion Northmor stuck David Cumberledge of Ashtabula St. John and Grandview' Heights Hudson Jump turned into a two-time champ in Division three with a predominant 19-4 win and the tech fall.

Lakewood St. Edward, St. Paris Graham and Genoa Area rehashed as individual wrestling group state champions and Genoa Area senior Dylan D'Emilio earned his fourth-straight state title on Saturday at the 2019 OHSAA singular wrestling state competition at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.

D'Emilio turned into the 32nd four-time state champion in OHSAA history in the wake of sticking New Paris National Trail's Peyton Lane in 1:35. Sanchez completed second in the 113 pound class in 2018 and won the 106 pound class in 2017. Senior Julian Sanchez crushed Delta's Cole Mattin 3-1 in the 132 pound class, junior Dustin Morgillo vanquished Ashtabula St. John's Nick Burgard 5-1 in the 145 pound class, junior Kevin Contos won 9-2 over Ashland Mapleton's Beau Lefever in the 152 pound class and James Limongi completed an undefeated senior season with a 7-1 prevail upon Ashtabula St. John's Ethan Ducca. Limongi won the 160 pound class in 2017, too.
